BREATHE YOGA CLASSES

The second floor is home to our bright, airy and intimate BREATHE Studio. Our yoga and movement flow classes are held in this serene space. The 1930’s maple hardwood floors were thoughtfully refinished to respect the building’s heritage, and to bring warmth into the minimalist space. An array of windows frames the treetop views, which invites you to relax and flow with nature.

Our BREATHE instructors each have unique backgrounds and specialties. From sound baths to sculpt classes, we teach to our strengths. Our yoga classes offer the best experience to the people in the room, so don’t be surprised when your instructors ask what you need. We’d like to remind you that you don’t have to be an experienced yogi to practice yoga in our studio—yoga is an ongoing practice. So come as you are, because we are for anybody who wants to breathe with us.

SLOW FLOW SLOW FLOW

SLOW FLOW

Wake up with the sun and breathe in our peaceful Sunday morning Slow Flow, or move gently amidst the warm salt lamps in our calming evening slow-paced vinyasa. Classes pair breath work with mindful movement in order to restore the body by stimulating achy joints and muscles. The practice gently builds and then slows down to help soothe the nervous system and prepare for rest. This nourishing class allows ample time for centering, movement, and stillness, and is offered in both 60-min and 75-min options.

FLOW FLOW

FLOW

Flow is a vibrant 60-min vinyasa practice, pairing breath with movement. Classes move at a lively, yet gentle pace, and focus on grounding movements to connect the body and breath. Flow classes leave you feeling stronger and energized, yet calm and at ease. Each class allows ample time for quiet centering, movement, and stillness.

STRONG FLOW STRONG FLOW

STRONG FLOW

Our Strong Flow is a slightly more intense vinyasa, designed to build heat and strength. This 60-minute flow pairs breath with fluid movement and music to help you ground, center, and strengthen in each asana. Each class begins gently and builds for an exhilarating release, while allowing for modifications and progressions to meet your needs. Expect to release tension, connect with your body, and leave feeling refreshed and at ease.

VIN to YIN VIN to YIN

VIN to YIN

Flow and Restore in one class. This 60-minute class couples a gently-paced 30-min vinyasa with a luxuriously calming 30-min yin experience. Beginning the practice with "vin" is an opportunity to move through your day and to prepare your nervous system and connective tissue to receive deep rest and relaxation through the practice of yin. Asanas (postures) in the vinyasa flow are carefully chosen in order to thoughtfully compliment the yin postures.

SOUND BATH YIN SOUND BATH YIN

SOUND BATH YIN

This special evening practice incorporates singing bowls and voice to create a meditative experience by bathing you in sound waves. Yin is a practice in stillness and mindfulness where restorative postures are held for several minutes each to allow your tissues and nervous system to experience deep rest. Come wind down amidst the glowing salt lamps and restore with soothing sound vibrations that encourage full relaxation of body and mind.

BALANCED BODY BALANCED BODY

BALANCED BODY

This full body sculpt class blends breath work, yoga, and elastic resistance bands to achieve balance inside and out. There is a different focus each class, but you can count on fluid movement flows that are seamlessly fused with slow strength sets. Classes target postural muscles for core strength and healthy backs, mobility, flexibility and full body strength.

Balanced Body was originally created for dancers to help prevent injury, but all bodies will benefit from this slow-paced strength class. The overarching goal is to foster a healthy relationship with self-awareness and self-care, while building strength and confidence.
